Online Fabric Store.for providing me with the fabrics for this room!We had a little Halloween party this past weekend at our house for Kennedy and a few of her friends.I tried to make it fun for the kids while not completely exhausting and overwhelming myself like I always seem to do whenever I’m planning anything, no matter how small.

Apparently I was successful because I was told (by the kids) that I need to definitely tone down the spookiness next year.Much better than being told your party was lame!.

One of the things I did to try to make the snack table a little more festive was to make these bottle labels and wrap them around some bottles of orange Gatorade..

I just peeled off the original labels and wrapped these around instead, securing with a dab of hot glue.. Like I said, I used bottles of orange Gatorade, but these can easily be used to bring a festive touch to any orange bottled beverage, or even to juice boxes!.make a DIY tea towel from kid’s artwork.

I think that would be just the thing to distract from my weird orange cabinets!.Another cornice went up in the laundry nook off of the kitchen.It really ties that area into the rest of the space.. We were able to use the end cap pieces in this room and they really didn’t make the process any more complicated at all!

During the hot glue building stage, I just attached the end pieces to the long piece that I’d measured and cut for the front.Covering them in fabric was just as easy.
